The tea, the drama! Britney Manson dated a minor, and Asteria is finally taking his revenge!
Asteria and Britney Manson are both well-known musical artists and creators in their music scene. With her dance and electropop beats, Manson attracts around 3.5 million monthly listeners on Spotify. Asteria has captivated around 2 million monthly listeners with his signature hyperpop music. Both Manson and Asteria started to blow up in late 2023. Manson became known for her song “FASHION,” while Asteria’s spotlight was from his song “WHAT YOU WANT!” which featured virtual singer Hatsune Miku. Manson also has built a name for herself in the runway and modeling industry. Asteria’s name was built purely from his iconic music, online persona, and young age. Manson is 29 currently, and she started gaining recognition when she was 28. Asteria is 18 and saw his music blow up when he was only 17. Asteria has worked long and hard for his music career, starting at the ripe age of 10, while, as far as the internet is aware, Manson started her music career when she was 27.
The story of how Asteria and Manson come to know each other is a complicated one. Let’s start with Asteria. In early 2023, Asteria started creating and releasing collaborative music with another hyper and electropop artist, Kets4eki. Kets4eki is a member of a music group known as FabFantasy, which consists of many other famous artists like 6arelyhuman. This relationship between Asteria and Kets4eki led to Asteria joining FabFantasy in July 2023. Shortly after “WHAT YOU WANT!” was released, 6arelyhuman and Kets4eki made their own version of the song, creating a friend-like relationship between Asteria and 6arelyhuman. Throughout 2024, Asteria and 6arelyhuman have done multiple tour shows together.
In November of 2023, after Manson released “FASHION,” she released another song called “FCKNSTR” with 6arelyhuman. This song leads to a small connection between Manson and 6arelyhuman/FabFantasy, though Manson was never invited, nor did she ever join FabFantasy. Later on, in late January of 2024, Britney Manson released a song with Asteria and Kets4eki called “BFM,” which stands for “Britney F***ing Manson.” “BFM” essentially was Manson empowering and encouraging herself by hyping her looks and wealth. “Like a face of a beauty clinic / a cosmetic exclusivity,” she sings in one line; “I’m a precious baby,” she declares in another.
In early 2024, videos and pictures of Asteria and Britney Manson were all over the internet after they had been performing side by side for the past few weeks on tour. There were clips of them holding hands and getting uncomfortably close on stage. While it went over most fans’ heads at the time, seeing it as something that was most likely wholesome and innocent, no one ever expected the turn it has now taken. At this time, Asteria was around 17 years old, and Manson was 28. On May 31, 2024, Manson released a song called “I’m Sorry My Lovely Boy,” and fans assumed that the song was about her relationship with Asteria. In mid-June of 2024, Asteria and Manson both came out on their Instagrams addressing issues that they have been facing, and Asteria said, “Me and Britney Manson were in a relationship for a while, we broke up recently.”
On September 26, 2024, Astria released a song called “FBM,” a collaboration with Kets4eki and 6arelyhuman. This song is a remix of “BFM,” but instead of being a power song, it is now a Britney Manson diss track. This new song cut out every Manson remnant and was replaced by 6arelyhuman. The last line of this song is Asteria saying, “Ayy, I wouldn’t have changed the song if you ain’t try to take all the money from that b**** out of my bank.” According to Asteria, Manson tried to take all of the money that was earned from that song. He even made an Instagram Reel saying, “My ex-girlfriend Britney Manson is fighting to take money from our collab song because we broke up, so I took her off the song and re-released it for her.”
Manson responded with her own Instagram Reel, saying, “Dear, I don’t need your bag. I need my own royalties after 8 months of streaming with no agreement. It’s been 8 months, and I have no cent from BFM, so don’t be greedy, don’t lie, and don’t act like some of your friends.”
Not too long after, Asteria released a 13-second snippet of a new song called “YOU CAN’T HIDE,” where the lyrics are “sexting her own record label, my girl she… size zero.” This lyric says as it needs. Asteria saying ‘size zero’ references to lyrics in Manson’s “FASHION.” The caption of this video was “YOUR ROYALTIES AGREEMENT HAS BEEN WAITING FOR YOU TO SIGN. DON’T LIE.”
While the details regarding the money/royalties from the song “BFM” are hazy, we may never know the truth. What is indisputable, however, is that Manson was involved in a romantic relationship with Asteria while he was still a minor – an alarming fact that raises significant concerns on its own. As more details come out, the story will become clear.
