Six Flags New England is an amusement park located in Agawam, Massachusetts, and is a popular spot for friends and family to spend time together. Six Flags is located only 12 miles from campus, around a 25-minute drive, making it a great place to go off-campus!
Six Flags officially reopened for the season on Friday, April 7th, kicking off its annual season. The park is full of thrilling coasters, fun family rides, and plenty of fun. The headliner attraction at the park is a steel coaster called “Superman: Ride of Steel.” It soars over 200 feet in the air and reaches speeds of over 70 miles per hour.
With the school work piling up on students as the semester nears its close, it might be a good stress-reliever to find something fun to do off-campus. Some students on campus already own season passes, and in the past, the University has hosted trips to the park for incoming freshmen. The weather is warming up, and Six Flags is a fantastic and thrilling adventure to kick off the summer season.
The park is open daily during Massachusetts Spring Break week, April 17th to April 21st, and is open every Friday and weekends for the rest of the school semester.
