 The fall season falls over the St. Germain Campus Center at Western New England University. The clear blue sky on a cool sixty-degree day in New England. October is peak fall season with leaves in the colors of yellow, orange, and red. Some trees have lost their leaves, however, the grass remains bright kelly green. The pathway leads in two directions under the clear blue sky. It leaves you in awe, wondering which path toward success students will take. As it says on the banner, “We are the Future of Humanity.” Bright sunlight glistens over the shrubs across the Campus Center and leads into the University Commons on the right. The large windows on the Commons reflect the blue sky back around the campus as students reflect on their future.

Soft breeze, warm sun, and the smell of tree sap; fall has arrived on WNE’s campus. The cool 50-degree weather is perfect for outdoor study dates with friends or even alone during the midterm season. The sun softly warms the skin, and the breeze brings a soft scent of sap and dried leaves. Collecting fallen acorns and warm shaded leaves makes for a perfect fall festivity in between busy classes. Sitting on campus with fall foliage surrounding you inspires work or relaxation to the busy student schedule; you get to choose.

With just a few short weeks remaining in the Fall 2024 semester, Western New England University students are consistently working hard to finish the remainder of their classes with success. As this is typically a stressful time for Golden Bears, it is vital to prioritize mental health and wellbeing. 

Take a break from computers, notebooks, and labs and enjoy the breathtaking fall foliage that our exquisite campus offers. Between the turning of the leaves and the brisk wind that blows through your hair as you walk from one building to another, you are sure to feel the beauty of the fall season in every step you take. 

The numerous tables, memorial benches, and Golden Bear blue Adirondack chairs allow for flexible seating to meet with professors or students and act as great outdoor alternatives to bask in the autumn air. Grab a jacket, a hot beverage, and a free mind to sit back and relax in the chilling weather on the school’s stunning New England campus.

The campus of Western New England University is experiencing some colorful changes as the weather changes into the cooler months of the year. The trees’ green pigment is slowly shifting into rays of orange, red, and yellow. Temperatures are hitting 50 degrees, and students are trading in their short sleeve shirts and jeans for comfortable sweatpants and sweatshirts. The sunny pathways may be getting colder, the days will continue to shorten, and the winter season approaches, but a bit of color may just brighten your day.

Red, orange, and yellow leaves gently flutter onto Western New England University as students burrow into fall. Cozy sweaters and warm cider sneaks into cold hands as winter approaches. 

Upon entering the cold brisk air, grab a toasty jacket and study sheet as midterms approach. A beautiful stroll on campus can clear a busy mind, while listening to the crunchy leaves below heavy feet. 

 The warm sun filling Western New England University will delight students and faculty. Take control over this busy fall and remember we are the future.
