We should all be thankful that NASA protects the ice wall surrounding this pancake of a world. The Arctic Circle is far enough away from the sun for it to be covered in ice. Boats would simply fall off the face of the Earth if the ice walls were not there to protect us.
As for airplanes, they are simply tricked into circling around 3,000 miles above the Earth. The reason airplanes work is not due to that bogus idea of gravity, but because of the dark energy of the earth. Objects do not accelerate downward like gravity states, but rather the earth accelerates upward thanks to dark energy.
Speaking of above the Earth, did you know that the sun and the moon are spheres that rotate in a circle around the plane of the Earth? Day and night are a result of the sun and moon being on opposite sides of the plane. Any current pictures of the world as a “globe” are obviously photoshopped with ‘innovative’ technology.
Rapper B.o.B. started a fundraising campaign in 2017 to send a satellite to space in hopes of discovering the curve of the disk-shaped earth. However, it is unknown how much he actually raised as the project did not happen.
B.o.B. is not the only flat-earther as there are hundreds scattered across the internet. If you do not believe us, just attend the annual Flat Earth conference in Denver, Colorado.
Enough about that, let’s unpack this…
This theory has gained some traction over the years as conferences and media have spread some of the ideas through memes and actual serious intent. Sorry to disappoint, but the Earth is actually an oblate spheroid and is not flat. While most of the planet believed that it was flat, this was disproved around the third century B.C.
The earth rotates on a 23.4-degree axis and revolves in an orbit around the sun; the seasons we experience are a result of this. If the Earth really was flat, we would not experience seasons. We also periodically see different stars and constellations, something that would be the same and cycling around space.
Speaking of space, just look through a telescope or at pictures of other planets and that will show that the Earth is not flat. Additionally, images released from space show that the Earth is a spherical shape.
Looking at the gravity of this theory, pun intended, it is important to understand that objects do accelerate downward at 9.81m/s^2. If gravity did not exist, we would be floating all around the cosmos. As much as it may hurt to see it, the earth is and will remain spherical in shape.
